Regular Council Meeting

THAT the Agenda for the February 18th, 2025 Meeting of Council be approved.

2 THAT the minutes of the Adelaide Metcalfe Council held on February 3rd, 2025 be adopted as printed.

THAT Council convene as the Committee of Adjustment at 7:01 pm

THAT the request to remove Condition #9 from Consent application B01-2023, be GRANTED in accordance with Section 53(23) of the Planning Act.

THAT Council adjourn Committee of Adjustment at 7:13 pm

4 THAT Council convene into Public Meeting at 7:13 pm.

THAT Council receive the report for information for Zoning By-law Amendment Z01-2025, which proposes to rezone the ‘Severed Parcel’ of Consent B01-2023 to ‘Surplus Dwelling (SD) Zone’ and the ‘Retained Parcel’ of Consent B01-2023 to ‘Agriculture Only (AO) Zone’; AND FURTHER THAT the associated implementing By-Law be APPROVED and read a first, second and third/final time in Open Council.

THAT Council adjourn the Public Meeting at 7:16 pm and reconvene into regular session of Council. 5

THAT Items 8.a through 8.e listed under the heading of Consent Agenda for February 18, 2025 be adopted as recommended.

THAT Council receive and file correspondence items 9.a. and 9.b.

6 THAT Council adjourn to closed session at 7:18 pm pursuant to Section 239(2) of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, to discuss the following matter(s); (c) a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board (Consolidated Industrial Lands) (a) the security of the property of the municipality or local board (Security of Municipal Property)

THAT the Fourth Quarter and Year End 2024 Building Activity Summary be received for information.

THAT Council direct staff to undertake the feasibility study of the lands identified during the Closed Session dated February 18, 2025. AND THAT Council direct staff to execute all necessary documents required to secure Colliers Project Leaders leveraging the Group Purchasing Organization Kinetic GPO to undertake the feasibility study. AND FURTHER THAT Council direct staff to deliver a Phase 1 report at the appropriate time prior to proceeding with Phase 2.

9 THAT Council APPROVE the attached contract for Drainage Superintendent Services with Spriet Associates.

THAT the Township Public Works Manager be authorized and directed to award Tender # AM-2025-01 to Pollard Distribution Inc. in the amount of $372.10 (plus HST) per Flake Tonne for the Supply and Application of Dust Suppressant. AND THAT the Township Public Works Manager and Clerk be authorized to execute, on behalf of the Township of Adelaide Metcalfe, all agreements and other documents necessary to implement this award.

THAT the Township Public Works Manager be authorized and directed to award Tender # AM-2025-02 to E+W Blane Trucking in the amount of $18.69 (plus HST) per Tonne for the Supply and Application of Maintenance Gravel. 10 AND THAT the Township Public Works Manager and Clerk be authorized to execute, on behalf of the Township of Adelaide Metcalfe, all agreements and other documents necessary to implement this award.

THAT By-Law 8 of 2025 (Zoning By-Law Amendment Z01-2025 - 1040 Melwood Drive), By-Law 9 of 2025 (Agreement - Engineering Services), and By-Law 9 of 2025 (Confirming February 18th, 2025) receive first, second, and third and final readings.

THAT the meeting be adjourned at 8:53 PM.
