Regular Council Meeting

THAT the Agenda for the November 3, 2025 Meeting of Council be approved.

THAT the minutes of the Adelaide Metcalfe Special Meeting of Council held on October 8, 2025 be adopted as printed. 2

THAT the minutes of the Adelaide Metcalfe Meeting of Council held on October 20, 2025 be adopted as printed.

THAT the minutes of the Adelaide Metcalfe Special Meeting of Council held on October 27, 2025 be adopted as printed.

THAT Items 6.a through 6.d listed under the heading of Consent Agenda for November 3, 2025 be adopted as recommended.

THAT Council support the resolution submitted by Halton Region regarding "Public Safety Requirements to Protect our Communities"

THAT Council support the resolution submitted by the Township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal regarding the "Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund".

THAT Council receive and file correspondence items 7.b, 7.c, 7.d, 7.e, 7.f, 7.g, 7.h and 7.j

THAT Council confirm as of November 3, 2025 and give notice to the public and any legal heirs that Crathie Hall (3533 Crathie Drive) including the lands and buildings located in the Township of Adelaide Metcalfe is no longer being used as a Community Hall. AND THAT Council declares the subject lands surplus to the needs of the Township to be disposed of following the Township’s Sale and Other Disposition of Land By-law

THAT Council APPROVE the “Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence” Policy

THAT Council receive the “Site Alteration By-Law” and draft Site Alteration By-Law; AND THAT staff be directed to bring forward a final version of the Site Alteration By-law at a subsequent meeting of Council, incorporating any feedback received.

THAT Council receive the “School Road Landfill - Capacity Update” report for information FURTHER THAT Council direct staff to provide a report at a subsequent meeting of Council which evaluates the options outlined in the “School Road Landfill – Capacity Update” report, following consultation with the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) and GHD Engineering Services, and includes an 10 assessment of associated costs, regulatory considerations, and recommended next steps.

THAT Council adjourn to closed session at 7:39 pm pursuant to Section 239(2) of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, to discuss the following matter(s); (e) litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board (Outstanding Fee Collection);

THAT Council direct staff to proceed as discussed in Closed Session.

THAT By-Law 53 of 2025 (Confirming November 3rd, 2025) receive first, second, and third and final reading.

THAT the meeting be adjourned at 8:32 PM.
