Regular Council Meeting

THAT the minutes of the Adelaide Metcalfe Council held on August 8, 2022 be adopted as printed.

4 THAT Council Correspondence Item CC-2 "Ontario Sheep Farmers - Livestock Guardian Dogs" be deferred and implemented into a comprehensive review of the existing Animal Licensing By-Law.

THAT Council support Correspondence Item CC-5 "Resolution - Town of Wasaga Beach - Strong Mayors, Building Homes Act"

THAT Council receive and file Council Correspondence Items CC-1, CC-3, and CC-5

THAT Council receives and appoints Spriet Associates to write a report to reconstruct the Beattie Award Drain based on the petition received under section 4 of the Drainage Act from owner (Ervin Bryant & Bruce and Victor Richardson) of Concession 12 Lot 7 of the former Metcalfe Township. AND THAT a branch be added to the drain based on the petition received from the owners of Concession 12 Lot 7 of the former Metcalfe Township (Bruce and Victor Richardson)

THAT the Operating Budget to Actual Report for July 2022 be received for information

THAT Council approve the Tender received from Autoform Contracting London Limited in the amount of $127,642.00 (plus HST) for the construction of new sidewalks on Second Street. 7 AND THAT Council amend the budget to redirect the remaining funds to construct an additional sidewalk along Kerwood Rd to connect the existing sidewalk to the north end of Kerwood Park.

THAT Council direct the Mayor and Clerk to execute the contract upon receipt in the amount of $394,672.98 (plus HST) as per Spriet Associates Letter of Acceptance dated August 31, 2022.

THAT Council adjourn to closed session at 7:34 pm pursuant to Section 239(2) of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, to discuss the following matters; (c) a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board (potential property acquisition)

THAT Council direct staff to proceed as discussed in Closed Session.

THAT By-Law 40 of 2022 (Agreement - Autoform Contracting London Ltd - 2022 Sidewalks) and By-Law 41 of 2022 (Confirming September 6, 2022) receive first, second, third and final reading. 9

THAT the meeting be adjourned at 8:07 PM.
