Regular Council Meeting

THAT the minutes of the Adelaide Metcalfe Council held on June 21, 2021 be adopted as printed.

THAT Council adjourn its regular meeting in order to sit as the Court of Revision under Section 97 of the Drainage Act, as amended, to consider the McKeen Drain 2021 and the Morgan Drain 2021.

THAT the assessments contained in the report for the McKeen Drain 2021, as prepared by Spriet & Associates, dated February 26, 2021 be confirmed as presented. FURTHER THAT Council proceed with the Third Reading of By-Law 42 of 2021.

THAT the Court of Revision for the McKeen Drain 2021 be adjourned at 7:08 pm.

THAT the assessments contained in the report for the Morgan Drain 2021, as prepared by Spriet & Associates, dated March 12, 2021 and revised June 18th, 2021 be confirmed as presented. FURTHER THAT Council proceed with the Third Reading of By-Law 43 of 2021.

THAT the Court of Revision for Morgan Drain 2021 be adjourned at 7:12 pm.

THAT the Drainage Consideration Meeting to review the Engineer's Report for the Carruthers-McFarlane Drain 2021 be opened at 7:13 pm.

THAT the Engineer's Report dated June 4, 2021 for the repair to the Carruthers-McFarlane Drain 2021 be considered and adopted as presented by the Drainage Engineer. FURTHER THAT the Drainage Consideration meeting to review the Engineer's Report for the Carruthers-McFarlane Drain 2021 be closed at 7:22 pm.

THAT the Drainage Consideration Meeting to review the Engineer's Report for the Timmerman's Drain 2021 be opened at 7:23 pm.

THAT the Engineer's Report dated May 14, 2021 for the repair to the Timmermans Drain 2021 be considered and adopted as presented by the Drainage Engineer. FURTHER THAT the Drainage Consideration Meeting to review the Engineer's Report for the Timmermans Drain 2021 be closed at 7:27 pm.

THAT Council move into Public Meeting to hear Zoning By-Law Amendment Z05-2021, Hugh & Ina Dodge, 229 Patterson Drive.

THAT Application for Zoning By-Law Amendment Z05-201 be APPROVED; FURTHER THAT Council proceed with the first and second reading of the implementing By-Law with the final reading to be provided once a deposited reference plan has been received to the satisfaction of the Township.

THAT Council defer support for item 6.c.1., "Town of Kingsville - Bill C-21 Firearms" pending further information and Staff report.

THAT items 6.b.1, 6.c.2, and 6.c.3 be filed and received as correspondence.

THAT the Budget to Actual Report for June 2021 be received for information. 11

THAT the Safe Restart reporting for 2020 be received for information.

THAT the report entitled, “Public Works Information Report (July 2021)” be received for information.

THAT the report entitled “Replacement of Culvert 18 on School Road” be received for information.

THAT Council appoints Spriet & Associates to write a report to reconstruct the Topping Drain based on the request received from owner of Concession 3, Lot 8 (geographic Township of Adelaide).

THAT By-Law No. 49 of 2021, 50 of 2021, and 51 of 2021 receive first and second reading.

THAT By-Law No. 42 of 2021 and 43 of 2021 receive third and final reading.

THAT By-Law No. 47 of 2021, 48 of 2021, 52 of 20121, and 53 of 2021 receive first, second, third and final reading.

Resolved that the meeting be adjourned at 8:01 PM.
