Regular Council Meeting

THAT the minutes of the Adelaide Metcalfe Council held on May 16, 2022 be adopted as printed.

5 THAT Council support the District of Muskoka resolution in regards to exemptions of the Annual Emergency Exercise.

THAT Council file and receive Council Correspondence items CC-1, CC-2, CC-3, CC-4, CC-5, CC-6, CC-8 and CC-9.

THAT Council receives the petition from the property owner (Rysan Farms Inc. C/A Michael Sanders) of Concession 5, Lot 6 of the former Metcalfe Township and appoints Spriet & Associates to write a report to add a branch to the Toohill Drain. AND THAT Council receives the request from the property owner (Robert Edger) of Concession 5, Lot 7 of the former Metcalfe Township and appoints Spriet & Associates to write a report to reconstruct and add berms to the Toohill Drain 6 FURTHER THAT these projects be added to the ongoing Toohill Drain 2021 Report prepared by Spriet & Associates

THAT the Asset Management Plan report be received for information; AND THAT staff be directed to report back to Council on the final asset management plan for approval on June 20th, 2022 after Council and the public have time to ask questions and make comments.

THAT the Legislative Services Update – June 2022 Report be received for information

THAT Council adjourn to closed session at 8:25 pm pursuant to Section 239(2) of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, to discuss the following matters; (e) litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board (Servicing Agreement between Adelaide Metcalfe and Strathroy-Caradoc)

THAT By-Law 30 of 2022 (Confirming June 6, 2022) receive first, second, third and final reading.

THAT the meeting be adjourned at 8:43 PM.
